2) What we collect

• Contact information you choose to provide (for example, when you email us), such as your name, email address, and message content.
• We use cookieless analytics (Umami and Vercel Analytics) to count page views and measure aggregate on-page engagement, such as how far visitors scroll and how long a page stays open. These set no cookies, do not follow you across other websites, and do not build a profile of you.
• If you subscribe to our newsletter, Mobile Apps Weekly: your email address, the confirmation of your consent, and email engagement data — whether you open the emails we send you and which links you click.

3) Why we collect it (legal bases under GDPR)

• To respond to inquiries and provide proposals or services you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract).
• To operate and protect our business, including preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests).
• To send you Mobile Apps Weekly, but only if you explicitly asked for it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — consent). We use double opt-in: you are only added to the list after clicking the confirmation link we email you. You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every issue.

4) Retention

We retain inquiry-related data for up to 24 months, or longer if required to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe, after which your address is removed from the list. We delete earlier upon a valid request unless we must retain data to comply with legal obligations.

5) Sharing

We may share data with service providers strictly as needed to operate our business. For the newsletter we use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., dba Resend, United States), which stores subscriber email addresses, delivers our emails, and measures email opens and link clicks on our behalf. Resend acts as our processor under a Data Processing Agreement, and stores subscriber data in the United States. These transfers are safeguarded by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (under which Resend is certified) and by Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell personal data.

6) Your rights (EU/EEA)

You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and the right to data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact: info@solar-blue.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7) Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; please do not include sensitive information in initial emails.

8) Children

Our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly process children's data.

9) Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Substantive changes will be highlighted on the Privacy page. Recent substantive changes: 2026-07-28, we began measuring aggregate on-page engagement (scroll depth and time on page) using the same cookieless analytics; no new personal data is collected. 2026-07-14, we launched the Mobile Apps Weekly newsletter, which introduced newsletter subscription data, email open and click measurement, and Resend as a processor.

11) Newsletter (Mobile Apps Weekly)

Subscribing is double opt-in: you enter your email, we send you a confirmation link, and nothing is stored anywhere until you click it. If you never confirm, your address is never saved — so if someone enters your address by mistake or in bad faith, simply ignoring the email is enough. Once subscribed, we measure whether you open our emails and which links you click, so we can tell which stories were worth including. This engagement data is not used to profile you and is not shared with anyone. Every issue contains a one-click unsubscribe link, which removes you from the list immediately.
