Water Conservation Products

The United States consumes about 340 billion gallons of water each day. This includes water used for irrigation, industry, and personal use. Solar Blue implements water conservation products to reduce this annual water usage by employing water conservation products on an individual project basis. Solar Blue will accurately determine your water usage and design a water conservation scheme to reduce the amount of water consumed in order to preserve our Earth’s most natural resource, as well as save clients money.  These water conservation products include:

Drip Irrigation

Used to irrigate vegetation without over-watering and excessive run-off.  Over 90% efficient in providing irrigation.

Grey Water System Implementation

Filtering and reusing of grey water, or slightly contaminated water used in laundry, dishwashing, and bathing to irrigate vegetation.

Dual Flush Toilets

Incorporates a two flush system to save water by using a small flush for liquid waste and a larger flush for solid waste, reducing the amount of water per flush.

Low-Flow Aerators and Showerheads

Mixes air into the water stream to maintain a steady pressure and reduce the amount of water used. These devices save water and lower utility bills because less hot water is used.
