History

Solar Blue was created by Chairman & CEO Mr. Lee Maher in 2006 with the intent of increasing awareness of ways to protect the environment by providing energy conservation solutions through renewable energy and energy efficiency. The vision of Solar Blue is to protect the Earth’s natural resources for future generations by reducing energy consumption and providing clean renewable energy.

Solar Blue started its venture in the commercial sector, focusing on the hospitality industry. The company signed pilot agreements with Marriott Vacation Club International and Universal Studios to develop brand standards for these flagship resorts to begin saving energy.

In the first quarter of 2008, Solar Blue signed contracts with Wyndham Vacation Ownership to develop energy efficiency and renewable energy programs for many of its properties nationwide. Since that time Solar Blue has installed energy conservation products in five Wyndham Vacation resorts including over 1,600 units. Solar Blue has since focused in other commercial sectors including industrial and public entities throughout the United States.

Future Plans

Throughout 2009 and beyond, Solar Blue will continue to use its success in the hospitality industry to reach out to other commercial, industrial, and public targets throughout the United States.
